Alford teen killed in motorcycle accident

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Christopher Neal Deuerling.
According to FHP reports, Deuerling was driving a motorcycle south on Joiner Road south of Chipley in Washington County when he entered a hard right turn and lost control of the cycle.
The motorcycle drifted off the edge of the road, went through a ditch and struck a barbed-wire fence, according to reports. The motorcycle then flipped over the fence and Deuerling was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
