Altha man injured in wreck

An Altha resident was seriously injured in a single-car accident in the early morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Leslie Widener Jr., 30, Altha, was traveling north on Walter Potts Road in Calhoun County and lost control of the vehicle, according to the highway patrol report.
Widener’s 1976 GMC truck ran into a ditch and overturned. According to the highway patrol report, the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
Widener was admitted to Bay Medical in Panama City in serious condition, according to the report.
