Drug conviction, arrest in Washington County

The following was released by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office:

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office announces the conviction of Teddy Bruce Polston, 41-year-old white male, from the Bonifay area.  Polston is scheduled to be sentenced in June after his conviction Friday on charges stemming from his April 2007 arrest on possession of cocaine charges.

Sunday, May 25, 2008 deputies stopped a vehicle on High Tower Springs Road in the Vernon area for a traffic infraction.  During a search of the driver, Timothy Earl Young, 23-year old-white male from the Chipley area, deputies found a bag of methamphetamines.  Young was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamines and driving while license was suspended.
