Grand Ridge will be having its annual Spring Cleanup from Monday, May 5 through May 8, Thursday.

All items must be placed on the street right-of-way for pick up, according to a press release City Manager J.R. Moneyham.

The city will not accept the following items for pickup:

leaves, limbs, flammables, hazardous materials, paints or other chemicals, tires on rims (four per household), televisions, microwaves, or computer monitors.
The service is available only for city residents (No commercial customers).

“Last year we hauled about 30 dump trucks during the cleanup. The response was outstanding and we want to offer this opportunity again to help get the town cleaned up,” Moneyham said.

For a fee of $5-$7 per tire, the city can arrange for commercial tire pickup.
