Although a pickup truck landed partially over a car, no one was seriously injured in a double-vehicle crash on Highway 71 North on Friday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

The names of those involved have not yet been released, but the driver of the black sedan was identified as a female minor.

According to Trooper Eddie Elmore, the incident was called in at approximately 3:15 p.m.

Elmore said both vehicles were moving southbound on Highway 71 near Jasmine Road when the driver of the truck attempt to pass the left side of the sedan. At the same time, the driver of the sedan turned left into the driveway of 3148 Highway 71.

He said the driver of the pickup was transported via ambulance to medical treatment, however, no injuries appeared to be serious.
