Jackson County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m.
A thunderstorm watch means that tornadoes, heavy rain, dangerous lightning, large hail and damaging winds are possible, according to the National Weather Service in Tallahassee.
Continue normal activities, but have a safety plan in mind. Take shelter if you see or hear a tornado, according to the National Weather Service.
