Tornado watch in Jackson County

The following report was distributed by the Jackson County Emergency Management Agency:

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Jackson County. 

This watch is in effect until 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. 

Heavy rain, dangerous lightning, large hail, and damaging winds are also possible.
