The state-bound Marianna High School basketball team will depart for Lakeland at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the high school.

Fans may join in the sendoff in front of Marianna High School, or the departure route will be Caverns Road to Highway 90, with fans also gathering at the school board office and the courthouse.

The Bulldogs play at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday and the games will be broadcast live on WJAQ, 100.9
