Panthers win big in Series debut

The Panhandle Panthers 12U squad won big in their World Series opener Saturday night in Moody, Ala., beating Senatobia, Miss. 12-2 in four innings.

Optimist Park was hot with competition Friday night as the Angels took on the Dodgers in a must-win situation to keep pace with the Cubs who won on Thursday night. Both teams entered the week’s end with just one loss.
