Death Notices, Obituaries
All obituaries (including photo and flag) and death notices cost $8.25 per column inch. With each notice placed, a one time fee of $3.55 will be charged for the cost of receiving copies of the Jackson County Floridan on the date the notice appeared. Obituaries are placed online at www.jcfloridan.com for a one-time $10 charge.
Funeral homes must submit obits, notices and photos by 5:00 p.m. the day before the obit is to be published. Obituaries are accepted only through funeral homes. Cremations and memorial services reported to the newspaper must also be submitted by the funeral home or crematorium.

Letters to the Editor
The Jackson County Floridan welcomes letters from readers and reserves the right to publish those we deem appropriate. Letters must be signed by the author and include writer’s address and daytime and evening phone numbers for verification. Letters should be no more than 300 words. All letters are subject to editing for length and clarity. Letters that cannot be verified will not be considered for publication. Unsigned letters will not be published.
