Dear Jackson County Floridan Editor,
Jean Livingston started volunteering at Emerald Coast Hospice more than a year ago. Helping other people, she said, has helped her get through the grief that still lingers from the passing of four beloved family members -- her husband, her son, and her parents — over the course of the last few years. The deaths of her son and husband came within 18 months of each other. She needs the people she helps as much as they need her, she said.
