The town of Grand Ridge is throwing a Spring Festival and Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, inviting the young and young at heart from all over the tri-state area.

City Manager J.R. Moneyham said Grand Ridge hopes the inaugural event will signal the start of a signature annual tradition in town. He said Monday that about 20 vendors have reserved space to set up at the festival, at $25 per location. The festival begins at 8 a.m. and shuts down at 2 p.m.
