5 more charged in 'pill mill' case

Five more people have been arrested in the “pill mill” case that began with the arrest of Marianna physician Dr. David Flick and his live-in girlfriend/assistant Kelly Jo Duncan on charges of conspiracy to obtain a controlled substance by fraud and subsequently to the arrests of two Chipley residents, Melissa Sue Hammack and Casey William Brock, on multiple charges of conspiracy to obtain a controlled substance by fraud.

Alford man faces multiple drug charges

An Alford man was arrested on multiple drug charges when an officer found him walking down Kynesville Road Wednesday morning with marijuana, methamphetamine, hypodermic needles, and some pills in his pockets and on his person, according to the complaint filed against him by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

Sex offender accused of failing to comply with registration requirements

A registered sex offender now living in Alford has been charged with failure to register his change of address, failure to change his address on his driver’s license, and failure to register a transient or temporary address.
