Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Sneads, Florida Phone 850-593-9900 Daniel Coulliette Daniel "Brother Dan" Coulliette, age 64, of Chattahoochee, FL. passed away November 30, 2013, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was born April 13, 1949, in Marianna, FL. and was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Margaret Janie Coulliette, a brother, friend and mentor, Willis Coulliette, a special sister, Margaret Coulliette Miller and several half- siblings. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Jane Newman Coulliette, a daughter, Dana Lewis (John) of Austin, Texas, a granddaughter, Miranda Jane Coulliette, also of Austin, Texas, two brothers, Paul Coulliette (Vernita) of Stephens City, VA., Ralph Coulliette (Diane) of Sparta, NC., three sisters, Claire Mae Coulliette Williams of Vidalia, GA., Addie Hardy (Roy) of Columbus, GA. and Frances Chadwick of Phoenix City, AL. and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Sally, Sam and Moe. Daniel retired from the Florida D. O. C. as an Education Supervisor. A private burial is planned for the family. A Homegoing celebration will be held at El Bethel Assembly of God on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at 2:00 PM CST with Rev. J. Clinton Howell officiating. In death as in life, Brother Dan has chosen to put the needs of others above himself and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Mr. Coulliette's favorite Charities, The Foreign Missions Division of the Assemblies of God, "SO THAT ALL MAY HEAR", c/o El Bethel AG, 2503 El Bethel Church Road, Grand Ridge, FL. 32442, and/or Canine Companions for Independence, an organization that provides Service Animals to the disabled at no cost to the recipient, 8150 Clarcona Ocoee Road, Orlando, FL. 32818.
